Description
The lack of titles and artist credits on this brand new Big Apple-related series is a touch confusing, but talk on the disco grapevine is that it's a new project from serial scalpel fiend Eric "Dr Dunks" Duncan. As you'd expect from a man with such esoteric tastes, these aren't your usual edits. The flipside, for example, extends and tinkers with a dubby, druggy slice of proggy Balearic oddness - all twinkling synths, ket-addled bottom end and starry riffs. The A-side is even odder - in a good way, mind - dubbing out a vibraphone-heavy chunk of early-80s dub disco strangeness. It's like Whatever We Want down the disco, which is no bad thing.
